braided garlic

Many of you know we raise trees in the forest. Did you also know we raise garlic on the farm? Garlic is harvested in July, then dried for a few weeks and braided. Convention says you can only braid softnecks. Not so! The better tasting hardnecks can be braided with skill, proper technique, and strong thumbs! Now they are ready to hang in your kitchen to look beautiful and to be close by to use in your recipes. Get your braids at our mini-farmstand in the office here at Forest Products. $15/Braid. A basket of “Loosies” are available at $1/Head.

Thank you photographer Rick Roy for pictures. Rick, www.pioneervalleywoodart.com also creates the awesome prizes for the Triathlon, unusual cribbage boards & signs.
